Despite unveiling a whole load of new products for this year's International CES in Las Vegas, it seems that LG still has quite a lot of goodies in its bag. Hence, the Korean company has just introduced (only on its home market, for the time being) two new plasma displays, which feature some pretty amazing contrast ratios, of up to 100,000,000:1.

The “XCanvas step boss (bobos)” line (indeed, the translation is rather strange, but the name will most likely make sense for the Korean customers) will include for the time being two new models, featuring either 50-inch or 42-inch screens. Moreover, similar to most LG HDTVs, the new plasma panels will also rely on the company's XD engine for high-end image processing.
